As the new academic year has officially started, it is time to introduce our new board!
From left to right: Claudia Meijer (PR Officer), Dajana Madzura (Chair), Caterina Woudenberg (Secretary) and Chloé Bakker (Treasurer).
However, we are still missing one person as the position of Events and Geneva Officer is still open. The Events & Geneva Officer is responsible for organising our annual study trip to Geneva and several other events. Here follows a short description of the tasks and responsibilities, by last year’s Events & Geneva Officer:
“The tasks you will encounter as the Events & Geneva Officer are very diverse. It is about planning interesting visits to the different organisations, guest lectures, borrels or whatever you wish to do throughout the year, so you can also be very creative! You will be in contact with all the major institutions important for International Law such as the UN, ICJ or the ICC. Regarding the Geneva trip, arranging accommodation, flights and the overall activities might seem like taking a lot of responsibility, but you will definitely learn a lot from it.”
So if you’re up for a challenge, want to improve your organisational skills and would like to be part of our team, you can now apply for this position. Please do so by sending a short motivation letter (max. 1 page, in English) and your CV to: firstname.lastname@example.org
